Travellers with children as well as animal lovers of all ages will definitely enjoy a trip to the Alpine Game Reserve in Feld am See, just half an hour from our apartments.
On the 11 hectares interwoven with trails accessible even for strollers, you can see various domestic and wild animals such as deer, fallow deer, mouflon, wild boar, raccoons or llamas. There is also a petting zoo in the park where you get the chance to give some animals a little scratch!
Your kids will undoubtedly enjoy romping around in the large playground with climbing frames or the Wild West saloon. You can bring your own snacks for the exploration or stop by the nearby Gasthof Thurnerhof for a hot meal. The Alpenwildpark offers plenty to do, so you don’t have to worry about getting bored if the weather turns foul – you can visit the Fish Museum, the Grizzly World, the African Experience and more.
