If you enjoy hikes that reward you with breathtaking views of the surrounding area, the Taborhöhe lookout is the place to go. There’s a nice circular hiking trail leading up to the top, but you can also conquer it by bike or even by car (there’s a spacious parking lot). At the top, you’ll have a magnificent view of the turquoise-coloured lake Faaker See and its surroundings. Near the viewpoint there is also a Biergarten (restaurant with a garden), where you can refresh yourself with a good beer after climbing the hill and enjoy some typical Austrian food. If that’s still not enough for you, you can also visit the nearby rope park and do some more exercise there. 🙂
