Put on your hiking boots and get ready for a hike with enchanting views all around. About an hour’s drive away, on the border between Austria and Slovenia, lies the beautiful mountain peak of Trupejevo Poldne.
With its height of 1,931 metres above sea level, it offers a magnificent view of the surrounding area. There is an easy and well-marked trail to the summit, which is also suitable for beginners. It is even possible to take the route up on a mountain bike.
This is a truly natural area, so expect not to come across any huts offering refreshments on the way up, so bring plenty of water and any snacks you may need. The hike from Sredjna takes about 2.5 hours and it is possible to adapt the ascent to be a circular route.
