What’s more pleasant in summer than a dip in the water? If you prefer natural swimming pools, then one awaits you in Vorderberg, about 40 minutes’ drive from our apartment. This bathing experience is a downright oasis of calm, decorated with reed beds and blossoming water lilies. Three pools await you here, one of them for children. There’s also a large lawn for sunbathing and relaxing by the water, as well as a playground for the little ones or equipment for volleyball, basketball and table tennis. And of course, there is no shortage of delicious homemade snacks from the local kitchen.
Thanks to the swimming pool’s location right on the Corinthian R3 cycle path, you can plan a swim as a reward for your bike ride before you head out again.
The swimming pool is open from May to September and admission is free for Carinthia Card holders.
